creative coffee table ideas for the thrifty shopper

by:GSH     2020-10-07
As the garbage of a treasure hunter, I always look for a cheap thing from the garbage of others, I can turn it into a treasure, my recent search is a coffee table.
I am currently looking for something that is fully functional, stylish but cost effective.
There are several thrift stores and consignment shops where I live, where I found some great discoveries.
By looking for a new coffee table, or rather, I know, I was surprised by the different things that could be used as a coffee table.
Currently I live in a bungalow style house but I have a dark brown leather sofa in my family room as I have two little boys and it is a practical option.
When an accident occurs on the sofa, they are easily erased.
Currently in the family room we have an oversized square leather top coffee table which is very practical.
However, since all my furniture is dark leather and the style I\'m looking for is more like a cabin, I\'m looking for something that is slightly lighter in color and less bulky.
I need something that can add a little color to the room, but it has to be practical for two young children.
In addition to supporting the feet and relaxing, we also hope that our coffee table can be used for dinner while watching TV.
During my search for a new coffee table, I was surprised by some great ideas for furniture.
In a shop, I saw someone taking a couple of square feet of stools and making them padded with beautiful cloth.
They pushed them together in front of the sofa and used them as coffee tables.
They put a T. V.
If you want to put food or drinks on the stool or support your feet, you can put them on the stool with a tray.
The idea is also a creative way to allow more seats.
Another idea is to use an old box as a coffee table.
This allows storage in the chest and can also be used to place the surface of the food and drink or the support foot.
Old boxes are often found in real estate sales, thrift stores and antique stores.
Many times, however, you can find a worn out or older chest that needs a little extra care and the price is high and for me the age actually adds charm.
However, furniture stores also sell new boxes used as coffee tables.
The plant stand and flowerpot can be used as a huge support for a piece of wood, an old door, and can be used to make a piece of glass or window of the coffee table as a guest\'s conversation material.
The jar can be used directly or it can be reversed.
If you run out, you can put a lot of different things in it.
Don\'t rush when looking for a coffee table or any type of furniture.
Take the time to stroll around and see what\'s available and gather some ideas.
There are a lot of good options, which are not new and the price is high.
If you see something in a furniture store, you can often reproduce the same look from thrift stores or classified ads and have a little creativity.
